Greetings,

                Our June meeting is rapidly approaching.   It will be held at the Thomas Taber Museum on Fourth Street in Williamsport on Monday night June 25, 2007.  The meeting starts at 7:00 pm and is open to the public.   This month's program is titled "Camera Talk".  David Orth will explain Depth of Field to the group.  Also, are you having trouble learning how certain functions of your camera work?   We want you to bring your camera and the manual with you to the meeting.  Together, as a group, we may be able to help you be "less confused."

And finally, if you have photos in the show, it comes down this Saturday June 23, 2007.   Someone will be there from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for you to pick-up your work.  It may also be picked during the meeting from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Minutes May 21, 2007

President Kevin Stroble brought the meeting to order at 7:10 pm.  There were 10 members and guests in attendance. 

Old Business: Juried Show- Elizabeth Seeber reported that she had sent Thank You Letters to the businesses and restaurants who donated food and gift cards for the opening. A big thank you was given to all for their time, generosity, and food that helped make the 5/4/07 show opening a huge success for all who attended. For the future a more organized cleanup committee will be appreciated. Pickup date will be 6/23/07 and at our next meeting.

Wayne reported that we broke even or lost a little on the show but that the treasury showed a plus $1300. Mike Hess made a motion to donate to the Museum $300 plus the cost of a floor mat and any necessary repairs to the rail and hanging system.

Program committee- Dave Orth reported that tonight’s meeting will critique the show. June’s meeting will be a discussion on “Depth of Field” and will be an open forum on camera questions. Kevin suggested a picture scavenger hunt where we would be given topic areas in June submit them in July and  show them at August’s meeting.

Picnic: It was suggested that our picnic be in September but that we still have a September meeting. Kevin will look into Ryder park, Stephanie’s and Wayne’s place on possibly 9/9 or 9/16.

Christmas party- Kevin will look into places and report back to the club.

Elizabeth Seeber made a motion to adjourn and Wayne Palmer 2^nd it.
