Hello to all of you.  Well it seems that spring has finally arrived.  Some flowers are starting to come out and the Dogwoods are in bloom.  So how about you get out, enjoy the weather and take some pictures.

The Shutterbugs 11^th Annual Juried Photo Show opened on Friday May 4^th.  We had a very nice evening with around 160 people in attendance.

Since Memorial Day falls on the fourth Monday this month, our meeting will be held this Monday evening, May 21, 2007 at 7:00 pm.  If you have not yet had a chance to see the photo show, Monday would be a good time to do that.  And if you have any photos in the show I would especially love to see you because this month’s program will be you telling us about your photo on the wall.

Minutes April 23, 2007

 President Kevin Stroble brought the meeting to order at 7:10 pm.  There were 17 members and guests in attendance.  It was reported that there was no old business to discuss.  The Shutterbugs 11^th Annual Juried Photo Show will be opening Friday May 4, 2007.  Donations of food were requested for the opening.  Contact Elizabeth Seeber to offer a donation.  Weis Markets already donated a $20 gift card.  More donations were expected from Franco’s Lounge, Joanna’s Bakery, Sam’s Club, Wegmans and Giant Market.  A request for help was also made for the night of the opening, setting up and tearing down.

Wayne Palmer reported that we had around $1700 in the treasury.  He said money was coming in for entry fees and going out for the cost of the show.

New business discussed was what types of programs the members would like to have in the future and also what field trips they would like to take.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm.
