Letter From The President

Hello to all of you. Are you gearing up for the holiday season? At the time of this writing (Nov. 20) my wife and I are getting ready to host Thanksgiving for about 30 people. (Shelly does most of the work. I just try to stay out of her way.)

Remember our next meeting is November 27, 2006 at 7:00 pm. As always the meeting will be held at the Thomas Taber Museum on Fourth Street in Williamsport.

Charlotte Meddaugh and David Orth will be giving a presentation on making greeting cards. In their own words this is what they will be doing.

We (Charlotte and David) will be demonstrating two approaches on "how to make a greeting card using your photographs": the minimalist and the 10 basic steps to creating a greeting card from scratch (while more involved, this approach is also at an easy skill level). We will be bringing samples of both approaches, also hand-outs of material & equipment needed and a brief supply source list.

Charlotte

Keep in mind that we will have a member's only dinner meeting in December, but will be back in January 2007. I have decided to run for the office of President one more time. We are looking for a new Vice-President and a Program Director. Please think about lending a hand to keep the club moving in a forward direction.

Happy Holidays,

Kevin
