November 21, 2005

Intake of photo submissions for the holiday exhibition at the museum happened tonight.  A short meeting followed.  Items discussed briefly included the following.

• Historic Buildings – members were encouraged to photograph historic buildings other than those that have been in Williamsport
• Christmas Party – Kevin will check with Stephanie and email more information
• Judges for the holiday exhibition will be Mark Nance, Terry Wild Studio rep and Gordon Wenzel
• Refreshments are needed – call Stephanie to let her know what you are bringing or provide monetary donation
• Need a program director.  Tentative ideas/suggestions are already in place for the following months:

1. Jan – critique of show
2. Feb – Paul Barrett (pbarrett@ltsd.k12.pa.us)
3. Mar – Bruce Dart
4. Apr – Bruce Dart
5. Don Kline - ?

Reminder:  Exhibition at museum opens Friday, December 2 at 7:00 PM.  Be there by 6:00 to assist in preparations.

December 19, 2005

The annual SVS Christmas dinner party was at Orlando’s in Muncy from 7:00 to 9:30 PM.  Twelve attended the event.  Everyone enjoyed a wonderful dinner and then exchanged the provocative and imaginative gifts!  There was the usual multiple exchanging of gifts before everyone went home happy!
