 Shutterbug February 25, 200 Minutes

 

        Kevin Stroble brought the meeting to order with 14 people present.

January minutes were read and approved.

A slate of officers for the coming year was presented.

        Treasurer- Wayne Palmer

There were no nominations from the floor. In March elections will happen if there are any more nominations.

The February meeting is our celebration of the Shutterbugs existence. This marks the 15th year of our being as we 1st met in February 1993 with Wayne Palmer as one of the original members

Show Committee-

        Members show- over 125 people attended the 2/1/08 opening

        Plenty of help with all phases of the show including cleanup

        Big thank you to all for the food

        Wine from Eaglerock Winery a big hit

        75 entries hung filled the room and then some.       

        Next year 3 entries/member instead of 4 anticipating more members

        Review the show tonite with members present explaining their pieces

 

        Juried Show- Opening May 2, 2008 (first Friday)

        Program Ad Sales necessity to defray $1500 prize monies

        Next month details for ad sales

        Next month Food Committee will list vendors to ask for donations

        Deadline to drop entries Saturday 4/26 1 pm thru 5 pm
